How the Integration Works

Step 1: Create the Event in eSPACE

Start in eSPACE to check space availability, secure approvals, and ensure all rooms and resources are properly booked. This guarantees the event has the right permissions and avoids double-booking.

Step 2: eSPACE Sends Event Details to Churchteams

Once the event is approved in eSPACE, the integration will automatically create a corresponding event (group) in Churchteams.

The following details are passed from eSPACE to Churchteams:

• Event Name

• Description

• Day of the Week

• Start Date

• Maximum Registration Size

Churchteams then sends the registration link back to eSPACE, which is displayed in the Public Field and can be shown on your eSPACE calendar.

Note:

• Updates made to events in eSPACE will sync with Churchteams.

• Events deleted in eSPACE will not be deleted in Churchteams (for safety reasons).

Step 3: Manage People and Ministry Groups in Churchteams

From there, use Churchteams as usual to manage registrations, communications, and ministry assignments. Just click “Edit” on the event/group in Churchteams to update the Group Profile and assign it to the right ministry area.

Step 4: Manage Rooms, Resources & Setup in eSPACE

Continue to manage all facility-related details—room setups, work orders, equipment, and calendar visibility—within eSPACE.

Real-World Example: VBS Planning Made Easy

Let’s say you’re planning Vacation Bible School (VBS) six months out.

1. Start in eSPACE to reserve your rooms and resources.

2. The integration automatically creates the VBS group in Churchteams and links the registration page to the eSPACE calendar.

3. Update registration settings and ministry assignment in Churchteams.

4. Your public eSPACE calendar—even if synced with Google Calendar—now shows the VBS registration link, all from one process.
