Over the past year, Smart Church Solutions has welcomed team members passionate about facility stewardship. And those numbers continue to grow. We recently welcomed two new staff members with various skillsets to our team. So, let’s introduce them to you.
Dan Hogan joined the Smart Church Solutions team as a Software Developer. He is passionate about equipping and helping the church be its best. When he isn’t writing code or strategizing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four young children. Dan also enjoys playing and creating music, drinking a good cup of coffee (like many of our staff members), and using his skillsets to help his home church.
Glenn Poole, our Software Solutions Specialist, also recently joined our team. He genuinely loves to help others and leads with humility, even when he loses a bet and jumps into a pool fully clothed. (See what we mean here. We like to have fun at work!) When he is not working, family is everything to him. He has two sons, Austin and Connor, and a loving wife, Brandy. He enjoys the outdoors and plays his guitar during his free time.
To learn more about Dan and Glenn, we asked them a few questions. Below are their answers.
Where Do You Live?
Dan: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Glenn: Lexington, South Carolina
What Do You Like To Do For Fun?
Dan: Hang out with family and friends, make music, and follow sports.
Glenn: Spending time with my two boys, ages 11 and 5.
Why Did you Join The Team at Smart Church Solutions?
Dan: The main reason was to join a team with a mission that aligns with my own.
Glenn: I was looking for a new path in life, and Smart Church showed up on my trail.
What Most Excites You About Working With Churches?
Dan: I greatly enjoy working behind the scenes to free up pastors, church staff, and volunteers to do what they do best.
Glenn: I love that I am providing help to those that did not realize that they needed it or that it was there at all.
Ok, Now Brag About Yourself A Little
Dan: I have four awesome kids. I did a minor in music composition in college. I was homecoming king of my high school. I suppose I know things about software too, so that’s cool.
Glenn: I spent 14 years in the restaurant industry, giving people smiles and full stomachs. As a general manager, I worked with a lot of young people. I tried to help them on their path of life and where they wanted to go.
